Jacksonville Fashion Week Part 2

So for the second night of JFW we were in Jacksonville bank at there downtown location. They had the runway set up so beautifully, here are some fun photos of the evening!

This event was so super fun!!! It was for the Aveda Institue that just opened up here in town! Students who were enrolling had an opportunity to win a full scholarship to the school.. so needless to say i was IN !!! So basically we, the future student had create an entire look which since i have no idea how to sew was a bit scary! Not to fear, with some help and a glue gun the outfit came together quite nice!! I cant tell you how proud I was to see my creation walk down the runway!!

So i started out with a basic dress that i covered in dried moss that i got from the fabric store. Then i sewed blue raindrop beads on the dress to go along with the theme of water.

And for her makeup and hair i wanted her to look like she just emerged form the ground.. so i gave her a trig and moss head piece and bracelet. And to go along with the water theme i made her a necklace out of melted water bottles!

A super big thanks to Angie Ortiz for doing the modeling she was amazing!!!

Jacksonville Fashion Week Part 1

This event was by far one of my favorites! I have never been surrounded by so many talented people before. I wish I could do this everyday. The first night of fashion week was held at the Casa Marina Inn at Jacksonville Beach. Here are some pictures i took backstage in all the awesome craziness!!

JFW Saks On The 5th Charity Event

This event was the first of many of JFW, it was a chance to see some of the designs up close before the big show.The event was held at Saks on the 5th in St Augustine Florida. Bobbi Brown and Belk were there helping out with the makeup. Here are just a few photos from that evening.

This event was so much fun. We had so many great artists come and be apart of the day. We had such a great turn out!! I can’t wait until our next Beauty Team event. Next event we will be unveiling Bobbi Brown holiday so excited!!!!

This shoot was so much fun. Many thanks go out to Samantha Skinner who did all the hair and rocked it out! Craig Hurst who did all the photography ( which will be coming soon ). Also we couldn’t have pulled it together without all the models, thanks to Meagan Henderson, Laura Muse Jackson, Jodi Bogers, Jill Bogers,and Ashley Jones!
