This event was so super fun!!! It was for the Aveda Institue that just opened up here in town! Students who were enrolling had an opportunity to win a full scholarship to the school.. so needless to say i was IN !!! So basically we, the future student had create an entire look which since i have no idea how to sew was a bit scary! Not to fear, with some help and a glue gun the outfit came together quite nice!! I cant tell you how proud I was to see my creation walk down the runway!!
So i started out with a basic dress that i covered in dried moss that i got from the fabric store. Then i sewed blue raindrop beads on the dress to go along with the theme of water.
And for her makeup and hair i wanted her to look like she just emerged form the ground.. so i gave her a trig and moss head piece and bracelet. And to go along with the water theme i made her a necklace out of melted water bottles!
